Childhood
I grew up in Preston, Lancashire, where I attended Our Lady's Catholic High School and Cardinal Newman College. My interest in Mathematics started at a very young age, simply
from understanding it more than other subjects and appreciating the absolute truths found in it.
01
Warwick
I completed my BSc in Mathematics at the University of Warwick from 2021-2024. I was mainly interested in very pure Mathematics here, particularly Functional Analysis.
02
Cambridge Part III
I then completed Part III Mathematics at Cambridge with a Distinction
grade. A course I took on infinite-dimensional spectral computations (taught by Matthew Colbrook) started my interest in computability problems in Analysis and
started my shift over to Applied Mathematics.
03
Doctoral research
I commenced my PhD in October 25th, remaining at Magdalene College. My PhD is fully funded by the G-Research NextGen Scholarship and brings
together computation, analysis, and the theory of PDEs.
